Summary/Abstract:

In the text, an attempt is made to establish the origin of a dialectal form of a noun isolated in the Bulgarian linguistic territory. Based on its formal connection with another literary lexeme in the Bulgarian language, the question is raised not only about the etymology but also about the existence of such a word in general.

      • Симеон Стефанов, доктор, главный ассистент Института болгарского языка БАН. Окончил факультет “Славянская филология” Софийского университета “Св. Климент Охридский” (2010). С 2012 по 2015 год был докторантом кафедры славянского языкознания Софийского университета. С 2015 года работает в Институте болгарского языка Болгарской академии наук сначала ассистентом, а с 2016 года – главным ассистентом.
